UVA Volunteers spent the morning planting bulbs and bushes, edging gardens and trimming trees at Woodbrook Elementary School.


Train & Partners Architecture employees built a fence at Gallastar Equine Center, a nonprofit agency that uses horse therapy with at-risk children.


Volunteers from Westerminster Canterbury of the Blue Ridge were paired with students at Western Albemarle High School to care for school grounds. These volunteers and students painted murals on the restrooms in the stadium area.


A team of UVA volunteers painted red targets on the walls of Stone-Robinson Elementary School's gymnasium for students' target practice.


A SunCom volunteer and his little buddy from the Salvation Army pre-school spot the apple they want and go for it during apple-picking on Carter's Mountain.
