University of Virginia volunteers made several repairs to Barrett Early Learning Center: patching a ceiling, repairig doors/door frames and building shelves.

A husband and wife team from the University of Virginia built 22 book shelves for the classrooms at Meriwether Lewis Elementary School. Each shelf was 2 ft. x 4 ft. and will provide much needed storage space for the classrooms.

Because their old fence was falling down, Crutchfield volunteers built a fence around the parking lot at the Arc of the Piedmont. Building Goodness Foundation volunteers were on hand to lead the project and coach the Crutchfield team.

Building Goodness Foundation volunteers removed a deteriorated skirt from the bottom of a trailer, insulated underneath to prevent pipes from bursting and added a new plywood skirt. They also added shelves in the bathroom for an elderly Jefferson Area Board for Aging client.
